Our Story

The story behind the Circle.

It started with a little brother, a big sister, and a simple idea: everyone deserves people to make plans with.

Meet Marleigh & Roman.

We're siblings, co-founders, and the people behind Social Circle.

Growing up together, disability was never something we learned about from a textbook. It was simply part of our everyday lives.

A Little About Marleigh

A personal mission. A professional background.

Marleigh holds a master's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation and spent four years as a VR Transition Counselor supporting students in Kansas City's public and charter schools.

She later helped grow a startup focused on social skills curriculum for students receiving special education services.

But long before any of that, she was Roman's big sister.

Social Circle brings those two worlds together: years of professional experience and a lifetime of personal connection to the disability community.

A Little About Roman

A big personality. A heart for connection.

Roman is a Social Circle co-founder, train enthusiast, walking expert, a proud uncle, and ice cream scooper at Howdy's Homemade.

As an adult with autism, Roman brings his own experiences, interests, and perspective to the heart of Social Circle.

Together with his sister, he's helping build something they both believe in: a community where adults can be themselves, make plans, and find people to share life's fun moments with.

What We're Building Together

Your City. Your Circle.

We believe adults with disabilities deserve more than occasional opportunities to socialize. They deserve plans to look forward to, familiar faces, and the freedom to build a social life that's truly their own.

That's what Social Circle is all about.
